BGC FOOD INDUSTRIES is a formerly FRESH Q INDUSTRIES that specializes in manufacturing beverages and refreshments. Mr. Quirino H. Cruz was the founder of Fresh Q Industries. He started making flavored juices in his kitchen, with the help of her sister-in-law who is a chemist. Then his son Mr. Alberto V. Cruz and his daughter-in-law Mrs. Grace T. Cruz started to produce Nata de Coco in their small room to make 3,000 pieces of Nata in a tray.
In the year of 2008, BGC also produced a different variant of sweet preserves which is Kaong, Beans, Monggo, Langka, Macapuno and Ube in the jars. They also produce different sizes of the jars which are 32oz (907grams), 12oz (415grams) and 24 oz (680 grams). The industries have a total of 55 production workers and 7 overhead employees that can produce 400 cases of jars per day.
Mr. Cruz was able to expand their business due to hard work and determination until they try to make a sweets preserve products. They started with two employees to produce 250 kilos of Nata de Coco in the 32oz jar, which is best in halo-halo, salad, and other desserts.
